** Job Summary
** This is the career/senior level of the administrative hierarchy.  Employees at this level provide administrative support to work groups in the organization.
At this level, the individual has developed specialized skills or is multi-skilled through considerable on-the-job experience and completes work with a limited degree of supervision. This position typically supports multiple managers and serves in a non-exempt capacity.  
** Responsibilities
* * Uses software applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
* Depending upon the organization, may prepare and update functional reports or records requiring compilation of information from multiple sources; may maintain plant records as required.
* Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail.
* Maintains files and calendars.
* Responsible for arranging business travel, coordinating meeting arrangements, and tracking expenses.  
** Basic/Required Qualifications
*** High School/GED AND two (2) years minimum required related experience

*** Strong computer skills
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate (both written and oral) in a clear, concise and effective manner.
* Ability to effectively interface with multiple across a department, e.g. managers, supervisors, employees
* Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with changing conditions.
* Experience with the Nuclear Learning Management System (NLMS)
* Demonstrated knowledge of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)(Fusion, Cast Pro, etc.)
* Knowledge of work-hour rules for fatigue and degraded Alertness that may impact the safety of the plant, personnel, and public
* Experience with timekeeping for larger departments including project capital utilization
* Experience with coordinating dynamic learning scenarios or teaching and learning stations to improve performance of workforce behaviors
* Experience creating and managing depth and breadth of required qualifications for multi-disciplined training program
* Experience with emergency response organization duty roster initiation and management
* Experience coordinating resources, in-processing, nuclear badging activities for both Duke and contract workers
* Be able to coordinate mail deliveries and department office requests including lifting offices supplies.
* Update plant design documents, drawings, and procedures while maintaining compliance.  
** Working Conditions**
* * Hybrid Mobility Classification* – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees must live within a reasonable commute to their designated Duke Energy facility, not greater than 50 miles one way. Employees are expected to report to their assigned Duke Energy facility as required and directed by their manager, on average 3 full workdays per regular workweek.
* Performs work in normal office environment.
* May be required to provide assistance in multiple areas as needed.
* Position may be located at a generating plant, regional office, etc.
* Prolong sitting at desk/computer.
* May be required to travel for training and/or assistance at other sites and may be required to work overtime.
