Hours:

7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Birch Agency is hriring a Speech Language Patholoist for a position located in Toccoa, GA that will start in February. This is a school-based position and we are interested in hiring a SLP with a passion for working with students with disabilities. This position is a maternity leave that has the option to turn into a long-term position. This position will provide services to elementary school students in the 3rd and 4th grade.

Services you will provide:

• Screen new students for Speech/Language disorders

• Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity

• Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities

• Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines

• Attend IEP Meetings

• Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary

• Consult with Teachers

• Work as a part of Special Ed team

• Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech and Communication

• NC State Licensure/Certification
