- Assist patients in exercise, ADLs, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist.
- Assist Occupational Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures.
- Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided.
- Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the AOTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program.
- Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application.
- Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuries.
- Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
- Current CPR certification.
USD $30.00 - $35.00 / Hour
