Operate an extrusion line safely and orderly within Standard Operating Conditions (SOC). Manufacture a quality product efficiently.

Night shift, 12‑hour cycle.

$25.75 per hour.

• Operate equipment to produce finished goods to production specifications.
• Stop equipment safely during normal conditions and emergencies.
• Set machine to SOC using appropriate conditions.
• Use a computer system to set run conditions and adjust within SOC.
• Perform line start‑up and shut‑down.
• Operate extruders safely.
• Follow all training documents or SOPs to operate the line efficiently.
• Use production reporting systems to fulfill job functions.
• Safely operate laboratory equipment and adjust quality test equipment for film samples.

• Assist Process Engineer, Maintenance, and Shift Supervisor with troubleshooting.
• Follow production schedule issued by production control.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and recycling practices.
• Complete required computer entries and paperwork.
• Participate in scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities.
• Operate motorized handling devices (lift truck, walk‑behind, core extractor, electric pallet jack).
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Personal Food Safety (PFS) gear.

• Follow safety guidelines.
• High School diploma or equivalency (required).
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Measurement or gauging experience preferred; or ability to complete training.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Read and comprehend English and correctly identify numbers.
• Good communication skills in person and email.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
• Sound judgment in safety and quality decisions.
• Complete documentation on computer and paper (Excel, Word).
• Work additional overtime if required (required).
• Self‑motivated, decisive, and able to work with minimal oversight.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing equipment operation experience (preferred).
• At least one year of continuous service at a manufacturing facility (required).

• Stand 70% of shift, walk 70%, sit 10%, reach overhead 10%, kneel 10%, bend 30%, climb stairs 10%.
• Frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds; occasionally lift up to 40 pounds overhead to 72 in., repeated during a 12‑hour shift.
