Industrial Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within industrial and commercial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems. The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical operations across various construction and renovation projects.

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues and perform repairs.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate machinery and processes.
• Conduct renovations by upgrading or replacing outdated electrical systems on construction sites.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and electrical codes while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades such as frame carpentry or maintenance services to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and repair logs.

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician (min. 5 years) with a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems.
• Prior commercial electrician experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Hands‑on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and NEC compliance.
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments.
• Experience working in manufacturing settings or on construction sites involving renovation projects or new installations.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret schematics related to industrial automation equipment.
• Previous involvement in construction or renovation projects that require electrical upgrades or modifications.
• Strong safety awareness aligned with industry standards for electrical work.
