As one of our Assistant Teachers, you play a key role in creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where every child thrives. You will support Class Teachers in day-to-day routines, classroom activities, and provide individual attention to help children reach their developmental milestones.
Job Responsibilities- Support Class Teachers in classroom and non-classroom settings, including routines, outdoor play, snack time, and learning journeys.
- Work in small groups or one-on-one with students in the classroom to reinforce instructional material.
- Assist class teacher in organizing the learning environment, preparing teaching materials and maintaining resource and ensure a clean organized classroom.
- Encourage student participation, promote positive behaviour, and reinforce classroom expectations.
- Collaborate with teachers to support students’ learning progress and well-being and manage classroom dynamics, including supporting students with development behaviours/learning needs
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being by following school guidelines and routines.
- EY2 - Advanced Certificate in Early Years
- Highly communicative
- Patience and respectful discipline towards all children
- Understanding of basic principles of child development
- Ability to interact comfortably with children and staff
- Ability to be flexible and adjust to changes in a dynamic environment
- Experience working with young children will be preferred
