Foster an inclusive environment that respects each child’s social, cultural, and religious background while promoting mutual respect and tolerance.
Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing classroom environment where children feel comfortable and supported.
Plan and deliver lessons in line with the centre’s curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods (e.g., songs, games, storytelling) to support quality learning.
Monitor and document children’s holistic development, maintaining accurate records and preparing individual portfolios/reports.
Manage classroom operations effectively, including maintaining a tidy, well-organised space and ensuring resources are properly labelled and accessible.
Build strong relationships with parents and colleagues, while guiding and supporting assistant teachers and adhering to the centre’s policies and work schedules.
- Diploma in Preschool Teaching (DPT) / Diploma in Early Childhood Education (DECCE) are welcome to apply.
- ECDA L1 or L2 Cert
