CEGEP Training Instructor Position

Become a vital part of the CEGEP community as a full-time Training Instructor. This permanent role focuses on student supervision, practical training, and course preparation in-person.

The successful candidate will engage with college and university students to develop practical skills through hands-on workshops and lectures. Responsibilities include training students, supervising lab experiments, and preparing assessing materials to track student progress. Participate in faculty committees while fostering academic growth and student accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during practical shop work sessions

• Train and mentor students through hands-on activities

• Prepare and evaluate tests, papers, and reports

• Conduct course evaluations and reviews

• Teach workshops incorporating varied educational methods

Requirements:

• Experience teaching adults and college/university students

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Vibration analysis

• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills

• Ability to manage classroom and shop environments

• Commitment to student assistance and inclusion
