AIM is currently looking for a non‑ferrous receiver for its AIM Recycling site in Sept‑Îles. Under the supervision of the site manager, the position holder will be responsible for general site maintenance. They must also contribute to the smooth operation of production, notably by sorting ferrous and non‑ferrous metals. They are expected to work safely by wearing personal protective equipment and respecting all safety instructions.
WhatYou Will Be Responsible For
- Sorting different types of non‑ferrous metals
- Classifying non‑ferrous materials and identifying material types
- Weighing material
- Operating the forklift
- Performing daily maintenance
- Carrying out general site upkeep
- Keeping property and equipment in good condition
- Cleaning the workspace at the end of the shift
- Entering data into the RECY system
- Offering prices to customers
- Providing excellent customer service
- Assisting with torch cutting when needed
- Preparing shipments and receiving material
- Wearing personal protective equipment
