Airport Security Pre-Board Screening Officer

Garda is hiring for the Pre-Board Screening Officer role, where candidates will engage in essential security responsibilities at the airport. This position requires strong attention to detail and the capability to respond to alarms or incidents promptly. You will control access to secured areas and ensure that no prohibited items reach sensitive zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen passengers and their luggage before boarding

• Prevent non-permitted items from entering secure areas

• Manage access control to restricted airport zones

• Respond to alarms and report security incidents

• Involve in airport emergency operations as necessary

Requirements:

• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent

• Clean criminal record with eligibility for RAIC

• At least 18 years old

• French communication skills;
English is a plus
