Assistant Superintendant

Overview

Anderson Homes LLC, the Olympic Peninsula's largest residential contractor, is seeking a Superintendent Assistant who will report directly to the Superintendent, and may also assist the President, Vice President, Project Manager, and Office Staff as needed. The Superintendent Assistant will be an integral part of Anderson Homes LLC, dealing with current and prospective projects, and must be professional, ethical, diligent, and an essential component to control construction costs and schedule while exceeding our customers' expectations.

• Assisting job Superintendent
• Scheduling assistance including but not limited to inspection requests
• Conducting job site inspections (safety and quality); document and complete punch list and warranty corrections
• General carpentry tasks
• Use of power tools
• Delivery/receiving of construction materials and returns
• General labor tasks
• Job site cleanup and photos
• Lifting up to 50 pounds. This position can be physically demanding at times and may be exposed to conditions that include weather such as heat and/or humidity and cold, fumes or airborne particles, exposure to dust and the noise level in the work environment can often be loud at times
• Applicant will take instructions and may report to multiple supervisors at times
• Debris removal
• Various duties as assigned

• Professional, ethical, diligent, and able to work as an effective team member
• Possess work experience specific to the construction field, two years new home construction
• Have a valid Washington driver's license with 2+ years driving experience and reliable vehicle
• Good driving record/history
• Experience driving a truck and trailer combination
• Must provide reliable work attendance and promptly start at the required time
• Email and basic computer & smartphone experience
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background check
• High School diploma or equivalent

Mon - Fri, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Compensation Range: $26-$33 per hr
