Slitting Supervisor(PET & BOPP Manufacturing)

We are Experience working within a packaging/converting manufacturer preferable.

• Independently handle a team of Primary slitting & Secondary operation, consisting of 2 primary slitting and 4 secondary slitting machines, with all the shift leaders reporting to him.
• Hands on experience is needed with Slitting operation with ability to guide team in case of production / quality issues, with solutions regarding parameters changes / method changes.
• Main role is to ensure the operation of slitting machines, maintaining targeted output within minimal interruption.
• Maintain quality control checks and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Fostering an environment of continuous improvement
• Developing the technical abilities of the slitting team, in order to develop shift leads from down the line.
• Overseeing and managing the slitting operations for BOPET & BOPP film lines.
• Conducting regular checks on slitting machines to ensure smooth operation and performing preventive maintenance when necessary.
• Coordinating with the quality control department to ensure that all finished products meet the required specifications.
• Troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during the slitting process.

• A Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience working with slitting machines in BOPET or BOPP film production, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory or in-charge role.
• Able to speak English is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate within a team setup.
• Keen sense and attention to fine details
• Problem solving skills with ability to make decisions based on factual data.
• Must be able to work under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary team work spirit.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practises.
