Overview

The Services required are set out as follows:

Responsibilities
  • Support Students with at-risk behaviours:
    • Engage and support identified at‑risk students during school and after hours.
    • Explore their goals and strengths, build problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, and help them manage relational conflicts.
    • Collaborate with school counsellors and SEN officers to respond to meltdowns or incidents in class.
    • Provide pre‑ and post‑counselling support/reflections for students undergoing disciplinary consequences.
    • Assist the counselling team in triaging and providing basic counselling support for other students where necessary.
  • Strengthen ecosystem of support for identified at-risk students:
    • Engage and support parents on parenting matters such as parent–child communication, behaviour management, and boundary/routine setting.
    • Connect parents with relevant social agencies (e.g. FSC/FGO) for additional interventions and shift mindsets toward seeking help.
    • Curate parent workshops, partner with the school's Parents Support Group, and invite specific parents (Target: 1 workshop per term).
    • Collaborate with school staff, social agencies, and medical professionals to bolster the support ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with the school’s Student Development Team and existing partners:
    • Provide fortnightly updates (using the school's documentation template) to Head of Department/SEN on support provided and follow‑ups for students with counselling or SEN issues.
    • Share updates on identified students at fortnightly Case Management Team meetings.
    • Provide a semester‑end report to Head of Department/SEN.
