Senior Practice Accountant

TPF Recruitment is supporting a highly regarded independent firm of accountants in Edenbridge with the recruitment of a Senior Practice Accountant.

Working in a general practice capacity you will provide a broad range of services to a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns
• Completing bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Managing a portfolio of owner managed business clients
• Acting as a key point of contact and providing general business advice
• Supporting and reviewing junior team members depending on experience

• The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and will be comfortable managing a varied workload. You may be ACA or ACCA qualified part qualified AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
• The firm is open to candidates seeking either a part time or full time position and can offer flexibility around working hours.

Required Skills:

Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience. 5-10 years experience within an accountancy practice experience. Experience preparing accounts and tax returns. Experience of Quick Books Xero or Sage would be advantageous.
