A successful and well-established firm of Chartered Accountants near Sevenoaks is looking for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join its close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to build their career and values working within a supportive team.

The Audit & Accounts Senior will work across a varied portfolio, combining accounts, audit and tax responsibilities.
Day-to-day duties will include:

• Preparing accounts, including under FRS 102
• Planning, carrying out and completing statutory audits
• Working on approximately 4-5 audits per year
• Producing Corporation Tax calculations for year-end accounts
• Assisting with personal and corporate tax work
• Supervising and supporting junior members of the team
• Building strong relationships with clients

The firm is looking for someone who will fit well into its established team and bring a strong technical grounding.
The successful candidate will ideally:

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• Have previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Have experience of audits from start to finish
• Be confident preparing accounts
• Have strong communication and client-facing skills
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Be keen to continue learning and progressing
