Automotive Vehicle Technician

Overview

Our Client is moving to the Sevenoaks area soon and looking for technicians to join the team. They are a high‑end independent retailer servicing some unique accounts. Every day is different within the Service department.

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Test parts and systems to ensure correct working.
• Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts of vehicles are examined.
• Carry out bumper‑to‑bumper overview, service and inspection.
• Maintain electronic systems including on‑board entertainment systems.
• Undertake repair and maintenance of vehicle parts including clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes and suspension.
• Complete legible and accurate paperwork for the customers and centre records.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate skills in logic and problem solving, pays attention to detail and is looking to grow within the role regardless of experience level. We are looking for people who are passionate about our industry.

• 2‑year experience in the industry.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Teamwork.
• Strong communication.
• Customer service.
• Interest in vehicle engineering.
• Experience with JLR Systems is a plus but not essential.
