What you’ll be doing :
Taking ownership of health and safety policies, procedures and management systems Carrying out regular site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews Reviewing and developing RAMS to ensure they are practical and effective Ensuring compliance with UK health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations 2015 Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and implementing preventative actions Managing health and safety accreditations, including Safe Contractor Supporting client audits and pre-qualification questionnaires Identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement Helping to drive a positive, accountable and safety-focused culture across the business
About you:
You’ll ideally have experience as a Health and Safety Manager, Health and Safety Advisor or a similar senior H&S professional, ideally within construction, building services, mechanical, electrical or facilities management. NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation Good working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
Experience with RAMS, site inspections, audits and accident investigations Experience managing contractors and subcontractor compliance Confidence working with site teams, clients and senior stakeholders A full UK diving license and willingness to travel to sites is essential. NEBOSH Diploma and IOSH membership at TechIOSH or CertIOSH level would be advantageous.
