Your new company A successful and rapidly growing main contractor with a strategic focus on delivering high-quality new-build social housing projects across the Kent region. With a growing portfolio, particularly within the affordable and social housing sector, they are seeking a talented Senior QS to initially manage one of 3 x 75 unit new build schemes in the Dartford area. With ambitious expansion plans and several other projects already secured, the role offers genuine opportunity for progression to manage your own team.

Your new role You will play a key role in the commercial team, directly managing your own project. You will be responsible for preparing BOQs, PPQs, and JCT 2024 contracts, managing monthly applications, issuing purchase orders, and delivering comprehensive reporting to the Commercial Manager.

You’ll present CVR's to the commercial manager, provide contractual support to the site team, and ensure commercial obligations are met throughout the build. You will manage your scheme independently, splitting your time between head office and site. What you'll need to succeed You will be a senior surveyor with previous experience of working for a main contractor. You will have strong cost control, commercial awareness skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience working for a Main Contractor on residential schemes is highly desirable.
