Full-time (part-time considered) Shape the future of Performing Arts in a brand-new, purpose-built space Wrotham School is seeking an inspirational Head of Performing Arts to lead and develop a vibrant, ambitious department at a genuinely exciting moment in the school's journey. In 2026, Wrotham School will move into a state-of-the-art new building, featuring custom-built performance spaces designed to elevate drama, music and performance to the heart of school life.

This role offers a rare opportunity to help shape the vision, curriculum and culture of Performing Arts from the ground up in a brand-new environment.

• Provide strategic leadership across Drama and Music (and any related performance disciplines)
• Inspire outstanding teaching and learning across key stages
• Lead curriculum development that is creative, ambitious and inclusive
• Champion performance opportunities, enrichment, and whole-school productions
• Play a key role in planning how the department will fully utilise the new performance facilities

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge
• Has experience of, or readiness for, middle leadership
