History Teacher – September 2026 start (Part‑time or Full‑time considered) Trinity School is a popular and oversubscribed Christian Free School in Sevenoaks. About the History Department

The History department at Trinity School is a passionate and collaborative team keen to enhance learning and outcomes. There are six History classes in each Key Stage 3 year group, four classes in Key Stage 4, and one A Level History class in both Year 12 and Year 13. Key Stage 3 students have four one‑hour lessons per fortnight, Key Stage 4 students have five, and A Level History students share two teachers for nine contact hours each fortnight.

Our team also supports Politics at A Level. History enriches the wider school life, including the annual remembrance celebrations with our chaplaincy team.

About You

You will be committed to the development and progress of students, able to facilitate and encourage a learning experience that provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. You enjoy a collaborative team‑working style, relish a challenge and are resilient. Teaching at A Level is advantageous but not essential.
