About the Business DepartmentBusiness is a hugely popular subject at Trinity School. Over half of our students pick the subject at GCSE and it has been consistently popular in the sixth form. Many of our students intend to run their own businesses as adults and business at university is consistently popular.
At Key Stage 4 we teach the Edexcel GCSE course. At Key Stage 5 we teach both AQA A level Business, CTEC Business and Edexcel Economics
B. There are two A level classes and one CTEC class in each of year 12 and 13.
You will be committed to the development and progress of students, able to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and you will be the sort of person who enjoys a collaborative team working style, relishes a challenge and is resilient. We are interested in hearing from candidates who are either newly qualified or have 2 – 3 years’ experience of teaching Business and must be able to teach to A level.
It is an advantage to be able to teach Economics, but this isn’t essential.
