Job summaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Strings Teacher to join our teaching team. You will have the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings in local schools and Music Centres. This role includes a blend of individual tuition, small group teaching, whole-class instrumental delivery, and leading small ensembles.
As part of this role, you will play a key part in developing and expanding our string provision across Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling, and Tunbridge Wells, as well as teaching at the Sevenoaks Music Centre on a Tuesday evening.
We are looking for an engaging, inspiring practitioner with strong pedagogical skills, a commitment to high-quality music education, and a passion for nurturing the next generation of string players.

: 379.5 hours per year (approx. 11.5hours per week) - Fraction
: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties - Work collaboratively with our team to build your lessons and create timetables that suit your lifestyle and allow for personal and professional growth.
- Travel expenses covered for work-related travel.

- Our team supports your professional growth and development through regular PDRs (Personal Development Reviews) and upskilling and CPD opportunities, including training in safeguarding, pedagogy, and skill sharing.
