Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Edu Talent Group are hiring a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a specialist education setting. This role focuses on helping students achieve their full potential through supporting teaching, learning and assessment, while promoting inclusion and wellbeing across the school. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff to contribute to school improvement and high-quality outcomes for all pupils.

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in relevant subject area
• GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent
• Experience working with children or young people in a school environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to support teaching and learning, including small group and one-to-one interventions
• Understanding of SEND and inclusive education
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to undertake training as required
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Competent IT skills for reporting, data management, and communication
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and high standards of pupil support

• Salary: £20,500 – £26,000 per annum
• Term-time working, 38.5 hours per week
