Secondary Humanities Teacher
An outstanding school in Sevenoaks is looking for a creative Humanities teacher committed to improving exam results, progress and engagement of pupils.
About the roleThis full‑time role requires delivering well‑planned lessons and strong behaviour management, supporting a balanced curriculum that develops well‑rounded citizens.
The contract is for 1 year starting September 2023 with potential to become permanent.
You will work alongside a supportive and collaborative department, with access to the school’s internal CPD programme.
The ideal candidate- Extensive experience teaching Humanities at Key Stage 3 and GCSE
- Strong teaching background and ability to think on your feet
- Available for interview and observation
- Committed and proactive in engaging students
- Pay in line with national scales (AWR compliant)
- Free CPD sessions
- Formally recognised teaching qualification
- Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting work
