Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior
Quantity Surveyor to join our successful Major Projects division. As part of our commercial team, you’ll play a key role in our major projects portfolio empowering decision‑making, providing expert advice, managing all commercial activities, and overseeing the change control process. This is a permanent, full time position based at our Head Office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
- Performing risk, value management and cost control activities to benefit the contract
- Leading and driving the procurement strategy including cost value analysis and procurement of sub-contractors
- Maintaining awareness of different contracts in current use, ensuring all current legislations and document control is adhered to
- Monitoring and reporting forecast against cost and value and the management of cashflow
- Overseeing and managing the commercial team on your contracts and supporting their development
- Previous experience working in the construction, civil engineering or highways industry
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of JCT, ICE and NEC contracts
- CSCS card
