A respected UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst in the South East of England. They are ideally seeking someone who is dual-qualified and holds experience of carrying out full surveying and air monitoring duties, however, they are able to offer training for candidates who hold either surveying or analytical experience. • Will have experience as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst (or Asbestos Surveyor or Asbestos Analyst)
• Must hold industry-related qualifications (BOHS P402, P403, P404, or RSPH equivalents)
• Good understanding of compliance guidelines (UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proven literacy and numeracy skills
• Comfortable using IT software

• Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Completing ad-hoc re-inspection surveys
• 4-stage clearances
• Performing the full range of air monitoring (background, reassurance, leak, smoke and personal)
• Collecting asbestos samples from site and bagging correctly
• Producing site-specific technical reports and floor plans
• Meeting with clients to discuss findings and provide technical advice
• Adhering to industry safety and compliance guidelines
• Liaising with removals teams and managers on site
