Head of Finance - Golf & Hospitality Venues
Up to £75,000 + benefits
Sevenoaks TN15 with occasional travel to other sites (1-day WFH)
We are working with a successful and ambitious operator of golf and hospitality venues to find a Head of Finance who will be responsible for financial control, management reporting, FP&A, audit, statutory reporting and business partnering across the organisation.
Reporting to the CFITO, this is a hands‑on opportunity for a qualified finance leader who can combine strong technical capability with commercial insight, helping drive performance, improve financial processes and support strategic decision‑making across a fast‑paced, multi‑site business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, financial modelling and performance analysis across the business.
- Manage the year‑end audit process and statutory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance and strong financial governance.
- Partner with operational and senior leadership teams to provide commercial insight, challenge and decision support.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting processes, controls and data quality.
- Lead, coach and develop the finance team, creating a high‑performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting expertise.
- Significant experience in senior finance roles covering financial control, FP&A and business partnering.
- Proven experience managing audits, statutory accounts, budgeting, forecasting and balance sheet control.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial insight into operational action.
- Confident communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders and non‑finance teams.
- Hands‑on, resilient and adaptable approach, ideally gained within a multi‑site leisure, hospitality, retail or service‑led environment.
- Living within commuting distance of Sevenoaks and with your own transport.
- Prepared to work in the office 4 days a week with occasional travel to the venues.
