Eventus Legal Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a highly regarded and well established law firm based in Sevenoaks, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE who is looking to manage a broad commercial disputes caseload within a professional and supportive team. The role offers a salary of £60,000 to £75,000 depending on experience, hybrid working, a performance bonus of up to 20%, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and two days at Christmas.

The Commercial Litigation Solicitor in Sevenoaks, Kent will manage a varied and complex caseload of commercial disputes and will play an active role in business development and client relationship management. Role Responsibilities

The Commercial Litigation Solicitor will be based in Sevenoaks, Kent and will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of commercial disputes. The day to day responsibilities within this role include:

• Managing contractual disputes, shareholder issues, professional negligence claims, debt recovery, and property related disputes
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, and settlement agreements
• Conducting case analysis, legal research, and risk assessment
• Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and ADR processes
• Preparing cases for court hearings and liaising with counsel
• Managing disclosure, evidence preparation, and procedural deadlines
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting business development initiatives and mentoring junior team members

Person Specification

The successful Commercial Litigation Solicitor in Sevenoaks, Kent will be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE and experience managing a commercial caseload. In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:
