You must have full UK right to work without sponsorship. We're looking for candidates within an easy commute of Edenbridge, with hybrid working available.

We're looking for a proactive Buyer to take ownership of purchasing, supplier relationships and inventory availability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your background could be in Purchasing, Supply Planning, Materials, Inventory or Supply Chain, what matters is strong supplier engagement, commercial awareness and a track record of improving availability, performance and service.

Key Responsibilities

Raise, manage and expedite purchase orders.
Build strong supplier relationships and resolve delivery, quality and invoice issues.
Monitor supplier performance and drive service improvements.
Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial agreements.
Maintain inventory levels while managing stock value.
Produce purchasing and performance reports using Excel.
Maintain accurate supplier and product data within ERP/MRP systems.
Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities.
Support the sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers.

About You

Experience with in Purchasing, Procurement, Buying, Supply Chain or planning.
Background in manufacturing, engineering or a similar operational environment.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Business Central advantageous).
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills.
