Hours:

Full time, 37.5 hours per week Working pattern:
Five days per week across Monday to Sunday, including participation in the on call rota and night spot checks where required Benefits include:

The role This is an opportunity to move your leadership career forward while helping shape the quality and direction of a large supported living service. As Deputy Service Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to lead the staff team, oversee day to day operations and maintain safe, effective and person centred support. The service supports adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and other complex needs.

You will help ensure that every person receives support built around their individual strengths, choices and aspirations. You will be a visible and approachable leader, giving colleagues the guidance they need, building effective relationships with professional teams and helping the service continue to develop. It is a role with genuine responsibility and influence. You will contribute to decisions about quality, staffing, assessments, new placements, service improvement and the effective use of resources.

What you'll be doing Overseeing the operational management of the staff team Supporting, guiding and motivating colleagues to deliver consistently high standards Working with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to coordinate effective support Promoting person centred, recovery focused and non-medical approaches to wellbeing Supporting assessments and helping people move safely into the service Maintaining high standards of quality and governance through audits and Service Improvement Plans Working with the Registered Manager to monitor budgets and use resources effectively What you'll need You will need:

Experience of managing or supervising a team Experience supporting adults with autism or learning disabilities The confidence to provide clear operational leadership within a busy supported living service Experience developing services that respond to the needs of local communities Experience building productive partnerships with other organisations Strong communication, organisation and decision making skills A clear commitment to person centred support, dignity and independence You must already have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
