Our client, a growing manufacturing business, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys assembly work, working with their hands and producing high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out light electronic assembly work
- Programming electronic components
- Using hand tools and assembly equipment
- Completing basic soldering and wiring tasks
- Reading and following assembly instructions
- Inspecting and quality checking finished products
- Maintaining accurate production records
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring products meet company quality standards
- Experience with in production, assembly or manufacturing environments
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately and consistently
- Good eyesight for detailed assembly work
- Experience using a soldering iron would be advantageous
- Willingness to learn new assembly and electronic manufacturing skills
- Positive attitude and reliable approach to work
- Salary of circa £27,000
