Position: Senior Quality Assurance Technician (Permanent)
Location: Edenbridge

We are very pleased to be working alongside our large, successful and highly reputable client as they seek to recruit a Senior Quality Assurance Technician to join their team at their site in Edenbridge. My client is highly thought of within their sector and offer an excellent environment and team in which to work.

This role is full time (Mon-Fri (Apply online only)) and offers an excellent opportunity to join a very established and reputable company. There is parking available on site and my client is based close to Edenbridge station.

Senior Quality Assurance Technician

There is plenty of free parking on site available for all staff - workplace based close to Edenbridge station.

Salary £32000 per year plus very good company benefits along with possibility of career progression within the business. 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and good pension scheme

This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience gained within a Quality Assurance based role

The role - Senior Quality Assurance Technician

This is a pro-active quality role, reporting to management on day-to-day Quality issues from production.

Duties will include:

Investigating and responding to any customer complaints

Raising and investigating internal non-conformances

Interdepartmental meetings/communication to ensure continuous improvement and effective process control

Monthly Quality report

Overseeing the day to day activity of staff / direct reports.

Participating in and preparing for all external audits

Assisting with internal audit programme

Hygiene inspections

Overseeing the day to day activity of the department

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or similar role

Understanding of quality systems and standards

Strong attention to detail

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Good communication and interpersonal skills
