Sales Manager / Sales Director - Media & Events

Salary: up to £55k (DOE)+ uncapped commission

Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with an established and growing business-to-business media company with a strong portfolio of publications, digital platforms, conferences, and events.

You will be responsible for developing new business while maximising revenue from existing clients across both portfolios.

• Developing and executing sales strategies across two media portfolios.
• Selling print, digital, sponsorship, conference, and event opportunities.
• Identifying and winning new business through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
• Growing existing client accounts by introducing additional products and services.
• Building strong relationships with senior decision-makers and commercial contacts.
• Managing the full sales process from initial contact through to closing.
• Working closely with editorial, events, and marketing teams to develop compelling commercial propositions.
• Monitoring sales performance against revenue and activity targets.
• Identifying new commercial opportunities and markets for growth.
• Taking a hands‑on approach to sales while contributing to the wider commercial strategy.

We are looking for a commercially minded sales professional who is confident selling multiple products and solutions rather than a single service.

You will ideally have a proven track record of winning new business, growing accounts and consistently delivering against revenue targets.

We are particularly interested in people who are commercially hungry, confident speaking to senior decision-makers and enjoy the challenge of opening new accounts.

You do not necessarily need to have held a sales director title. We would consider a strong Sales Manager or senior salesperson who is ready to take the next step and have greater responsibility for commercial performance.
