Warehouse Stores​/Logistics Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing logistics operation in Borough Green. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse activities, from receiving goods through to dispatch.

• Receiving deliveries and checking goods against purchase orders
• Inspecting items for damage and reporting any issues
• Booking goods into the warehouse management system (WMS)
• Storing stock safely and efficiently within the warehouse
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Labelling shipments and ensuring all documentation is accurate
• Supporting vehicle loading and coordinating with couriers
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times
• Helping identify ways to improve processes and efficiency

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic IT skills (Outlook, Excel); WMS experience is a bonus
• A proactive, reliable and team-focused attitude
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Forklift licence (desirable, but not essential)
