As a Production Technician – Mechanical, you will play a key role in the assembly, build, testing, and mechanical integration of complex high-tech systems within a precision-focused manufacturing environment, working a rotating shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

* Mechanical assembly and build of advanced equipment and sub-assemblies

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation

* Mechanical fitting, assembly, and integration of precision components

* Supporting testing and fault diagnosis activities when required

* Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and productivity

* Working closely with engineering and production teams to achieve build targets

* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures

Candidate Requirements:

* Experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, production, or manufacturing environments

* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering documentation

* Hands-on experience with precision mechanical assembly or electro-mechanical systems desirable

* Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach

* Good practical problem-solving skills and a positive team attitude

* Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern

* Relevant mechanical qualification advantageous (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
