• Manage the day-to-day running of all areas of the Fresh and Ambient departments in store, delivering the best availability and highest shop floor standards through brilliant execution while ensuring the store is safe and legal for customers and colleagues.
• Encourage collaborative teamwork across all Foodhall and Night teams to deliver a consistently high-quality shopfloor.
• Plan and execute all trading activity on the shopfloor, delivering great availability standards, key metrics and KRAs through routine processes.
• Lead with impact: engage and coach your team to improve routine and process, foster a culture of selling with personality, serve customers with heart and pride, and aim to add more items to every basket.
• Be results-focused: ensure shopfloor, promotional and modular activity is landed to brief and on time to drive the store selling agenda.
• Talent development: listen with empathy, drive resilience, encourage ownership, and support the development of the team to create an environment where people feel valued, trusted, and motivated to step up.

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge on food or non-food departments.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
