This role will be responsible for the heartbeat of satellite production facility delivery. It will develop and deliver plans for facility layout and function, and will unite production teams to achieve mission success. This individual will work with a wide variety of contractors, technicians, engineers, architects, and Amazon leaders to develop and deliver a vision that meets our satellite production goals.

• Estimates and sums utility demands (LN2, GN2, electrical, etc.), translates that into building infrastructure and optimizes and manages the installation and commissioning of the infrastructure and delivery system.

  Transportation Standards for Liquids and Slurries
• NFPA 13:
  Standards for Fire Suppression Systems
• AFSPCMAN 91-710:
  System Safety Requirements Manual for SF Ranges
• ASCE 7-16:
  Minimum Design Loads for Buildings
• ASCE 7-22:
  Minimum Design Loads for Building Hazards (Wind, Seismic, etc)

• Experience with the project management of technical projects
• Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge two or more of the following standards or equivalent:
  • ASTM B31 4:
    Transportation Standards for Liquids and Slurries
  • AFSPCMAN 91-710:
    System Safety Requirements Manual for SF Ranges
  • ASCE 7-16:
    Minimum Design Loads for Buildings
  • ASCE 7-22:
    Minimum Design Loads for Building Hazards (Wind, Seismic, etc)

• Professional Engineer License in Mechanical Engineering Thermal Fluid Systems or Chemical Engineering.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
