Mid-Level PowerApps Developer; Hanover, MD

Mid-Level Power Apps Developer needed for our government client in Hanover, MD. The Mid-Level Power Apps Developer will support rapid application development with strong Dataverse expertise. Three month contract position. The non‑negotiable pay rate is $62.75 per hour.

• Develop and maintain Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps integrated with Microsoft Dataverse to support agency workflows, case management, and reporting.
  
  Collaborate with program managers, analysts, and technical teams to rapidly prototype and iterate solutionsalignedwith government objectives.
• Implement role‑based access controls, data validation, and automated workflows using Power Automate and Dataverse logic.
• Ensure solutions meet security, accessibility, and compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, Section 508).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming to support continuous delivery.
• Document application architecture, data models, and deployment processes for audit and knowledge transfer.

• Must be able to thrive in high‑velocity environments, can translate policy and operational needs into scalable digital tools, and are committed to delivering secure, compliant, and user‑centric solutions.
• Must have 4-6 years experience developing with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Must have software development experience with Oracle and MS SQL Databases.
• Must be proficient in Dataverse schema design, relationships and business rules.
• Must have experience with Power Fx, formula writing and custom connectors.
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Must have the ability to deliver high‑quality solutions under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Mustbe available to work from 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday with a30 minute non paid lunch. A hybrid schedule of three days a week onsite and two days from home may be considered after one month of goodwork performance.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
