Class 2 Multidrop Driver

Severn Transport Services are an award-winning palletised freight distribution company based in Welshpool and are shareholder members of the Pallex & Fortec Distribution Networks.

Description

We are looking to recruit Class 2 Multidrop Drivers to join our team for local palletised deliveries and collections, our area covers Powys & Shropshire but each vehicle covers a tight area and area knowledge would be a definite advantage.

The ideal candidates will possess the following:

• A valid clean HGV Class 2 licence (minor points considered)
• A digital tachograph card and full CPC
• Minimum 1 years driving Class 2, newly qualified drivers considered (conditions apply)
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
• Good geographical knowledge
• Electric Pallet pump truck experience

Working from our site in Welshpool you will work a Mon – Fridays delivering palletised goods

• Adhering to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations
• Pre-start vehicle safety checks and vehicle cleanliness
• Completion of all legal and customer relevant paperwork
• Operating in a safe manner whilst moving heavy pallets
• High level of customer service to our clients
• Multi drop to various locations in TF / SY / TF postcodes

Full-time, Permanent (Monday to Friday)
