Required Skills:

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Tennessee or eligible for licensing
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
• Proven experience in obstetric care and hospitalist settings
• Strong clinical acumen and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage high-volume obstetric cases efficiently and compassionately

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience in a locum tenens or temporary staffing environment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Prior experience in rural or community hospital settings
• Bilingual capabilities to enhance patient communication

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics
• Prior locum or temporary hospitalist experience is highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to work 24-hour shift rotations, including clinic, call, and on-call responsibilities
• Compliance with all hospital credentialing and privileging requirements
• Willingness to travel as needed; all licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements are provided

Compensation for this position is structured at an hourly rate of $214.50, with weekly pay via direct deposit, ensuring timely and reliable income.
