This position is in the Alaska Vocational Technical Teacher's Unit (AVTECTA).

AVTEC, a division of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, is recruiting for an AVTEC Instructor who will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering instruction in the Diesel and Applied Technology programs as a Diesel Instructor. Duties include learning, maintaining and developing program curriculum; designing, building, and maintaining the practical industry-based labs and shop areas; facilitating program advisory board meetings;

and maintaining student training records.

Four years of journey-level trade experience in the applicable field.
