  • Shifts:

    4x12-hour shifts per week (Day: 07:00-19:00 or Night: 19:00-07:00; assigned based on facility needs)
  • Guaranteed

    Hours:

    60 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks)
  • Patient Ratio: 1:20 (days/weekends), 1:10 (nights)
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $970-$1050
  • Benefits:
    Free parking and facility-arranged vehicle for local use (restrictions apply)
Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric residents in a long term care setting
  • Assist with activities of daily living: ambulation, feeding, bathing, turning/repositioning, and hygiene
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
  • Perform vital sign checks, glucose testing, and skin care
  • Support safe patient transfers and operate equipment (Skylifts, Hoyers, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate documentation in facility charting systems (ECS, Epic)
  • Float within CNA scope to meet facility needs, including coverage at affiliate locations if needed
  • Adhere to infection control and isolation protocols
Qualifications
  • Active CNA license in any state and proof of completed CNA training program (certificate/transcript)
  • Alaska CNA license may be pending; application must be submitted prior to applying (documentation required)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent long term care CNA experience required
  • Previous travel CNA experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience with charting systems (ECS or Epic preferred)
  • Must be at least 25 years old to qualify for facility-provided vehicle
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required if using facility vehicle
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 6 months of long term care employment within the last 3 years
  • Must live at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates accepted)
  • Willingness to obtain Hepatitis B vaccination or provide medical exemption documentation
