Up to $2,500 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Hours: Full Time, Variable Shift

Under direct supervision, this position is accountable to the RN to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient/resident, family and providers in the department. Duties delegated to the shift include maintaining a safe, hazard‑free, clean environment that facilitates patient/resident focused care and ensuring clear communication between the needs of the patient/resident and the RN.

• Successful completion of Caring Reliably, Culinary Training, Serv Safe, and Dining Assistance within four months of hire.
• Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

• 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or personal care attendant in long‑term care or hospital.
