School Bus Monitor

Overview

First Student is hiring a Part‑Time School Bus Monitor in Seward, AK. As a monitor you will be at the start of the students’ day with before‑school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.

No experience is required; we provide industry‑leading training.

• A split shift: early morning before‑school pickup and after‑school drop‑off with a few free hours in between.
• A guaranteed shift of (4) hours per school day, no working nights or weekends unless you want to.
• Additional hours may be gained through trips and charters when available.

• $16.00 / hour starting wage

• No experience necessary.

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and sound judgment
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Availability for early morning hours

• At least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Part‑time schedule preferred
• Enjoy working with students
