Food Safety & Quality Technician

Scoular is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Technician to join our team in Seward, NE.

• HS diploma or GED required; college degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months in a related position required, preferably in the food industry. Experience may be substituted with relevant education.
• Experience working with HACCP, SQF, or FSMA is preferred.
• Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Must be organized and have effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work well both individually and within a group.

• This position will require working frequently indoors, in a cooled, sanitary environment with temperatures 45°F or below.
• Frequently around loud production equipment.
• Infrequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Infrequently exposed to high, precarious places (e.g., the roof).
