The Production Operator will perform a variety of tasks involved in the manufacturing and packaging of freeze‑drying protein ingredients for the pet food industry. Responsibilities include the safe and sanitary operation of manufacturing process equipment, food safety and quality inspection, and other tasks as needed while ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety policies.

• Work safely, complying with all safety, quality and sanitation policies and procedures, and proactively identify and report potential safety hazards.
• Adhere to the production schedule as outlined by the supply chain team; collect data for delays as they relate to production schedules.
• Correctly carry out required quality checks and constantly monitor the quality of products through the manufacturing process.
• Operate all equipment as outlined in SOP, conduct set up and breakdown of equipment as required, notify maintenance of mechanical problems, and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Cross‑train to various positions within and possibly outside of the department.
• Move products manually or with assisted devices/equipment, following food safety and sanitary standards.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures, following Good Manufacturing Practices and 5S practices, and be responsible for hygiene and housekeeping in a specified work area.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work well both individually and within a group.
• Willingness to work all shifts/schedules as needed.

• Lift up to 60 pounds; climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, and walk extensively throughout a 10–12‑hour shift.
• Work frequently indoors in a cooled sanitary environment with temperatures 45 °F or below.
• Operate in the presence of loud production equipment.

Night Shift: Mon‑Thu 8:00 pm–6:30 am

Starting Wage: $20.00 /hour
