Nurse Practitioner Alaska

Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner looking for a high-impact clinical role in one of Alaska's most stunning locations? Cell Staff has partnered with the Alaska Department of Corrections to place an NP at Spring Creek Correctional Center in Seward, Alaska — Alaska's only maximum-security correctional facility. We're looking for a skilled, autonomous clinician with a strong primary or acute care background ready to make a real difference.

• Tuesday through Friday, 40 hours per week (exact shift times confirmed at interview)
• 3-day weekend every week
• Day shift
• 13-week contract with option to extend

• Provide comprehensive medical care to a complex correctional population
• Manage acute and chronic conditions in a maximum-security facility
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, RNs, and mental health staff
• Conduct sick calls, chronic care visits, and urgent/emergency evaluations

Local Package

• Estimated weekly gross (40 hrs): $3,872.00

Stipend (Travel) Package

• Estimated weekly gross (40 hrs): $4,092.00

• Active Alaska NP license (or actively pursuing)
• DEA license required
• Minimum 2 years of NP experience; ER, Family Practice, or Primary Care background strongly preferred
• Broad clinical competency required
• Corrections or institutional healthcare experience a plus
• BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred
• Must be able to clear a State of Alaska background check
• Covid vaccine not required
