Position SummaryIn partnership with the Executive Director, the Clinical Director supports all aspects of clinical operations, programming, and treatment services at their assigned program. The Clinical Director is responsible for fulfillment of essential duties, whether directly or ensuring program compliance. In collaboration with the Chief Clinical Officer, the Clinical Director protects and enhances the Newport Healthcare brand, focused on safety, integrity, and quality of care.

- Supervisory – Manages supervisors and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of departments, including interviewing, hiring, training and addressing complaints.
- Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work required.
- Licensed in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work required.
- Two years or more of relevant clinical experience with adolescents, young adults, and families, addressing mental health, substance abuse, and co‑occurring disorders.
- Minimum of one‑year experience in a residential setting.
- Current CPR certification or obtain within first 30 days of employment required.
- Must meet state‑specific age and pre‑employment requirements such as background checks and drug screening.
- Minimum of one‑year supervisory experience.
