The Role
The HR Onboarding Specialist is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and administering the full onboarding process for our client base. This position is the first point of contact for onboarding and pre‑employment inquiries and performs a variety of administrative and operational tasks to support legendary client service.
Essential Functions- Managing the onboarding employee dashboard and ensuring new hires are processed in a timely manner.
- Reviewing electronic documents for accuracy and ensuring all necessary forms are completed.
- Troubleshooting candidates' technical issues and following up on onboarding concerns.
- Auditing and reviewing Form I‑9 for accuracy, documenting corrections, and processing through E‑Verify as needed.
- Processing background checks and pre‑employment drug testing results.
- Communicating with hiring managers regarding new‑hire paperwork status and following up as necessary.
- Drafting and distributing offer letters; tracking completion and reviewing pre‑hire documents.
- Managing UPS and Fed Ex delivery accounts, including tracking deliveries.
- Processing, printing, and packaging payrolls for shipping to clients and assisting in other payroll operations as assigned.
- 1-3 years of related experience, preferably with a bachelor's degree.
- Strong technology skills including MS Office and HCM systems.
- Exceptional follow‑up skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- Reliable and dependable; this position is 100% onsite at Seymour, CT.
Salary: $26.45 - $33.65 per hour
