The purpose of this job is to complete final processes on the cable using a variety of large machines specific to order / products.
** ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
* • Review documentation / work orders
• Set up, monitor and operate variety of large machines including large armorer, cabling machine, parallel and strip line, and pulling eyes, and take off / payout including but not limited to the following tasks:
• Move, load and unload variety sized reels of product and component parts
• Guide and thread cable into machinery
• Splice wires
• Cap and tie down ends, wrap product
• Monitor quality
• Operate fork truck and change propane cylinders
• Document• Communicate with supervisor
• Clean work area
• Train employees
• Participate in team meetings
• Other tasks as assigned
